The primary subject matter expert on the WB External Web Design System (EWDS). Responsible for reviewing and approving all website designs relative to EWDS. Expanded and improved the EWDS to accelerate web design, development, and approval. Collaborated with internal business clients to ascertain website requirements and goals. Created information architecture, high fidelity wireframes, and prototypes for the redesign and replatforming of over two dozen Work Bank sites.

Hired initially as a Teaching Assistant and promoted to Instructor. Taught 4 immersive UX design programs. Each program spanned 10-weeks and 400 hours of class time. Class size varied from 12 to 15 students per program. Received an average student feedback score of 4.6/5.0. The feedback questionnaire measured instructional quality including helpfulness, clarity, and subject matter expertise. Originated, prepared ,and delivered curriculum. Provided student instruction, project feedback, and 1-on-1 guidance and project support.
HiveWise / Lead UX Designer
OCT 2016 - MAR 2017
Worked with HiveWise, an MIT commercial spin-off, creating an open innovation platform. My working relationship with HiveWise began while at General Assembly. Performed a complete overall of their platform. Interviewed current users to determine usability issues. Structured the information architecture to drive a new platform design. Collaborated with the product owner to evolve the platform against HiveWise objectives. Worked with the design team to create a plugin-based version of HiveWise for integration into larger sites.

Chose General Assembly for a UX immersive program, based on its high reputation with graduates. Performed 400 hours of immersive study, receiving 120 hours of instruction. Responsible for product development cycle from ideation all the way to production and validation. Led a team in the creation of three brand new labels. Originated product, branding, and packaging designs for wallets, purses, backpacks, and a variety of other items. Performed prototype testing to validate usability and durability. Worked with overseas manufacturers to ensure quality assurance. Created print and promotional marketing materials.
